BAI Canada reaches another milestone by bringing the connection to Toronto’s Finch Station.
Wi-Fi connectivity has become available in yet another Toronto subway station. BAI Canada is currently building the communication network to bring Wi-Fi connectivity to the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subways.
With Finch station now live with Wi-Fi, this brings the total number of stations equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity to 58, up from 39 just a short month ago.
There are only a few stations remaining as part of the communications network build across the TTC subway network. BAI Canada, a BAI Communications company, is well on track to deliver full connectivity to all 69 stations, 73 platforms, all mezzanines, passageways and stairs before the end of the calendar year.
Finch station, at the end of Yonge-University subway line, is the sixth-busiest subway station within the TTC subway network and serves around 100,820 people per day.
