Managing Director of European Transit, Malcolm Keys, leads BAI’s European division based in London.
What will BAI Communications bring to the European communications industry?
BAI will bring significant private investment in communications infrastructure, a culture of engineering excellence, and become a trusted partner that is solution focussed.
Most importantly, we are going to provide a positive customer experience to our partners here in Europe, based on our proven track record in providing high availability, high capacity networks engineered to the highest industry standard.
What goals have you set for yourself in your new role as head of the BAI Communications European Transit Communication business?
My aim is to become the leading provider of transit-based wireless communications networks in the below and above ground market in Europe.
Where do you see BAI Communications in five years’ time?
I am genuinely excited about the future of BAI – I see us going from strength to strength, continuing our evolution to a fully global company that is profitably operating in many different markets. I also see BAI Communications offering our people the chance to work on a number of exciting projects in an industry that is constantly changing.
What approach do you take to challenges or issues when they present themselves?
Tenacity and patience are required, but if you focus on what the long-term benefits are for your key stakeholders, solutions can be found to most issues.
What is the best advice a mentor has ever given you?
If you plan to succeed, you usually will!
