Apprenticeship program

Become a highly skilled broadcast technician at BAI Communications across a four-year apprenticeship program that combines on-the-job practical experience and study.

As an apprentice, you will assist experienced and skilled broadcast technicians on-site and participate in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment while they provide you with on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring.

At the end of the apprenticeship, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Electronics and Communications and have access to opportunities within our company for permanent employment to progress your career further.

Applications for our 2024 Broadcast Technician apprenticeship intake have now closed. Register your interest to be kept up to date for future intakes

Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week

Meet two of our Broadcast Technician apprentices, Anna and Hugh, as we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week (12 – 18 February 2024) and the importance of apprenticeships for the skills of the future.

Anna and Hugh share their experiences in the field, what they love about the job and an insight into what it is like to be a BAI Broadcast Technician apprentice.
