One avenue to bridging this gap is the utilisation of private-public partnerships, to develop the infrastructure needed to level the playing field.

LinkNYC, ZenFi Networks, The Knowledge House, Andrew Freedman Home, and The Bronx Community Foundation partnered with the NYC Office of Technology and Innovation to launch the 'Bronx Gigabit Center'.
