The nominees for the 2015 ARCIA Industry Excellence Awards have been announced, with BAI’s Jacqui Tanner nominated as a finalist in the Customer Service Award category.

These awards are distributed at the Australian Radio Industry Association (ARCIA) gala dinner event, held every year in conjunction with the Comms Connect Conference in Melbourne.

Being held from the 2-3rd December, this conference is deemed the largest and most successful radio and converged communications industry event in Australia. Attendees include public safety agencies, Government, Rail and Transport, Telco, Utilities, Engineering/Industry and Resources and Mining.

Determination of the awards are based on specific criteria for each award, which incorporates commitment, leadership, innovation, teamwork and service. All ARCIA members actively involved in the Australian radio communications industry are entitled to nominate and be nominated, provided that the Award criteria is satisfied.

Jacqui is a Customer Service Manager within BAI’s dedicated Critical Communications team. Jacqui’s role is as the primary contact between the NSW Telco Authority and BAI Communications. In 2013, BAI was appointed by the NSW Telco Authority to operate and maintain the NSW Government Radio Network (NSW GRN), one of the world’s largest government radio networks. Consisting of approximately 160 sites with over 30,000 users from 40 government agencies and departments, the NSW GRN serves agencies such as the Ambulance Service of NSW, Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW State Emergency Service.

Jacqui’s nomination is testament to her professionalism and her unwavering commitment to the customer. The NSW Telco Authority has confirmed their endorsement of the nomination, wishing Jacqui every success in securing the award in December.

BAI Communications will be participating in the Comms Connect Conference as a platinum sponsor, the first major external event presence since the launch of the new brand.
