BAI’s Hong Kong office is celebrating Agnes Yan’s appointment to the position of General Manager – Admin & Finance in recognition of Agnes Yan’s capability, initiative, and dedication to her current leadership role over the past six years.
In her new role, Agnes will increase her responsibilities over the finance team, including project-specific profitability. As a member of Hong Kong’s leadership team, Agnes will work closely with Hong Kong’s managing director, Paul Chan, and engineering director, Esmond Cheung, to extend leadership coaching to the engineering managers for them to better support their staff in the areas of human resources, administration, safety, wellbeing, and sustainability, as well as IT.
“Contributing to the promotion is Agnes’ demonstrated passion for her role and working with her team and the engineering teams to align them with local and global practices and initiatives. She has shown strong capability and leadership supporting managers and staff alike,” said Paul Chan.
Additionally, Agnes will connect with managers across the Hong Kong business to formulate strategy and plans for the stated areas with means to monitor progress and performance.
“She has been a consistently proactive and capable leader in her planning and leading meetings, briefings, and training to help Hong Kong’s managers, engineers, and other staff bring their best selves to work every day,” concluded Paul.
Agnes commences her role on 1 February 2021.
