Event summary

Companies are increasingly using wireless to connect mission-critical equipment in remote and mobile environments. Vehicles, like trains, produce vast amounts of data and require stable and reliable connectivity to integrate smart applications. However, with a wealth of different wireless technologies, pairing the right connection type with the use case is critical.

Josh joined industry leaders at ARC Industry Group’s best practice panel on March 4th, with the aim to demystify the wireless landscape. Leveraging his expertise of network optimization, Josh discussed how we used leading-edge technology to bring converged connectivity to transit systems around the world.

This focused, one hour session covered:

  • Aligning use cases with the appropriate wireless option
  • An assessment of high-bandwidth, mobility-centric mesh network options
  • Key deployment considerations and common missteps in the field
  • Case studies of high bandwidth, ultra-reliable, low-latency deployments
