COVID-19 precautionary measures at BAI Communications

24 March 2020

As the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve globally, our thoughts are with everyone who is affected. With our people always at the heart of what we do, we continue to focus on the wellbeing of our own global team.

We would like to share some of the measures that we have been putting in place and confirm the high priority we are giving business continuity throughout this period.

We are first and foremost concerned about the safety, health and wellbeing of our people, customers and other stakeholders. To reinforce this, we are following our business continuity management plan and continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in all our locations.

As a precautionary measure and to support worldwide efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, our offices in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, and United States have enacted remote working and our Hong Kong office is operating with minimal staff. We are supporting our people to work from home as safely, comfortably, and effectively as possible.

We continue to focus on delivering essential services for our customers and ensuring the highest possible reliability, continuity, and quality of service of all networks for which we are responsible. Work that continues is taking place with increased focus on hygiene and sanitisation, and with minimal contact and maximum distance among team members.

The situation is being monitored closely and our position may change in line with COVID-19 developments locally or globally. This post will be updated with any material changes to the actions we are taking.

For specific information please contact BAI Communications in your nearest location.

We hope that you, your family, friends, and colleagues stay well and safe as we make our way through this situation.

Stephen Matthews
Acting Group CEO
